Privacy Policy

Customer Privacy Matters To Us

At Albert's Pub ("AP.N"), we recognize that keeping information about our customers secure and confidential is important to them. For that reason, it is also important to us. AP.N will not sell or share nonpublic personal information about our customers with third parties either outside or within the AP.N corporate family except as explained in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy covers personally identifiable information about both current and former AP.N customers who obtain financial products or services from us primarily for personal, family or household purposes. It explains AP.N’s information collection practices, sharing practices, and security safeguards, and is provided to our customers as required by the Federal Financial Privacy Law.

Collecting Information

When our customers seek to obtain financial products and services from us, we may collect nonpublic personal information about them from the following sources:

  • Information we receive from our customers on applications and other forms, or through other communications with us including information provided by mail, telephone, in person or electronically. Such information may include, for example, customer name, address, employment, income, and other identifying information.
  • Information about our customers’ transactions with us, members of the AP.N corporate family, or others. Such information may include, for example, customers’ account balances and payment histories.
  • Information we receive from consumer reporting agencies or other companies. Such information may include, for example, information regarding our customers’ creditworthiness or credit histories.
  • Information we receive from other sources. Such information may include, for example, verification of our customers’ employment histories, credit balances, property insurance coverage or other representations made by our customers.

Sharing Information Outside the AP.N Corporate Family

We may share all of the information described above with our service providers in order to help us process our customers’ applications or service our customers’ accounts. Those service providers may include, for example, insurance companies, payment processing companies, mail service companies, check printing companies, and data processing companies. Those companies might help us, for example, in mailing account statements.

We may also share all of the information described above with companies that perform marketing services on our behalf. Such companies have agreed to keep confidential the information that we provide to them and to use the information only to the extent necessary to carry out the functions we have asked them to perform.

Finally, we may disclose all of the information described above as permitted by law.

We do not share nonpublic personal information that we collect about our customers with any company outside the AP.N corporate family for the purpose of marketing that company’s products or services.

Sharing Information With AP.N’s Affiliated Companies

We may also share information regarding our customers’ transaction and account experience with us, including their names and addresses and their payment histories with us, as well as certain general information which does not identify them, among our affiliated financial services companies, such as our mortgage banking companies and insurance agency. By sharing that information, we can better serve our customers’ financial needs and notify them of financial products and services that might interest them, such as a mortgage loan.

Former Customers

If someone was but no longer is an AP.N customer, the policies and practices described in this Privacy Policy will apply to that person except as stated below in the section on "Additional Rights and Modifications."

Protecting Confidentiality and Security

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about our customers to those employees whom we have determined need to know that information to provide products or services to them in the course of their job responsibilities. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable federal standards to protect nonpublic personal information.

Additional Rights and Modifications

Our customers may have other privacy protections under state law. We will provide notice of our Privacy Policy to our customers annually, as long as they maintain a customer relationship with us. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy in any respect at any time, and we will inform our customers of changes as required by law. The examples in this Privacy Policy are illustrative only and are not intended to be exclusive.

Special Notice to Vermont Residents

The information sharing practices described above are designed in accordance with federal law. Vermont law places additional restrictions on sharing information about Vermont residents, so long as they remain Vermont residents. In accordance with Vermont law, if a person is a Vermont resident and for so long as that person remains one, we will not share consumer credit reports with our affiliates without that person’s consent; and we will only disclose that person’s name, contact information, and our own experience information to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf. Otherwise, we will share information in accordance with the practices described above.
